After the past fifteen years of working in the private sector renovating and flipping homes for a private company Dave Doherty has decided to take his dream of owning and running his own business and turn it into a reality. After gut renovating countless multi-family homes in the Medford, Somerville, Alington, and Cambridge area it is with great pride he decided to take his years of experience back to the residential arena.
Why Wildcat Builders you may ask?
In the midst of the pandemic Dave and his wife Steph had probably the biggest year of their lives. They were married in what turned out to be one of the last allowed public gatherings in March of 2020. Later the same year they moved to Wilmington MA after having both spent their entire lives in their home town of Medford. After growing up a Medford Mustang It was coaching Wilmington Youth Hockey where the inspiration for Wildcat Builders was born. Hockey was a pathway to new friendships in a new town. It seemed only fitting to carry that Wildcat name to his new business venture where he is anxious to create a word of mouth referral based business led by his excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.
Master Carpenter and a Licensed Construction Supervisor and Remodeler
Dave is a Master Carpenter and a Licensed Construction Supervisor and Remodeler. He has 25 years experience in the field after graduating from Arlington Catholic High School and jumping into the construction industry feet first. From renovating tiny vacation homes in the lakes Region of New Hampshire to supervising the completion of multi-family condo conversions in some of the areas hottest real estate markets there isn’t much he hasn’t seen.
